Hello,

I have a RE450 MESH WI-FI Extender, have reset it, but now the 5G Light does not come on at all,

 

Is there a way to fix this.

Here are some suggestions that may help you:

1. If the 5G light does not turn on, the extender is not connected to the router's 5GHz network. Connect your phone to the router's 5GHz Wi-Fi to verify it is working.
2. Forget the router's Wi-Fi on your phone and reconnect to ensure the password is correct.
3. Change the router's 5GHz Wi-Fi channel as mentioned above.
4. Disable security settings such as MAC filtering or Access Control on your router, as these can block the extender from connecting. Contact your router's support if you need help with this.

Note: If you have more than one extender, make sure their Wi-Fi names are different from your main router's to avoid conflicts. You can change the extender's Wi-Fi name here: How to change wireless settings of TP-Link range extender on Tether App?
