Hi, since 2 months our clients have started losing internet connectivity on a daily basis. The Deco app says everything looks fine, and our ISP can reach the router. A reboot of the Deco mesh system usually fixes the problem, but then 2 hours later the clients loses internet connection again. There are green lights on both fiber box and Deco units. On a few occasions we've seen channel interference and and ran optimization, but this has been the case only a few times. We have not introduced any new client on/after these issues started and channel interference is apparently not the issue more than in a few occasions. We have only the main wifi network activated (not guest or iot). 

We're on the latest firmware. I actually do believe the issue started around the time we latest ran a firmware update, but I can't find any official reports about this version having issues. 

 

It happens 1-5 days a day usually, certain days it doesn't happen. There's no specific time of the day, sometimes when I'm working from home, no one else in the house and sometimes when the whole family is home, all devices online. I don''t see the pattern. 

 

What could be causing this and how do we fix it?

  @meemee You can change DNS Server to Google DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in the Internet Connection option and DHCP Server.

Hi, how many online clients do you have? Would there be many 2.4GHz devices?

 

Did the disconnection mainly occur on the mobile devices?

 

I've left a message with a beta firmware for Deco XE75_v3_1.3.0. You can test whether it helps improve the network stability.
