I have 3 Deco X68 units and one starting just dropping out so I moved it to the shed but now one of my other X68 units that is set as my main deco unit is constantly dropping out as well so I want to change it out as the main deco unit.  I bought two E4R units about six months ago to extend to other areas so I would like to change the main unit to be one of them and the unreliable X68 into an area less critical.

However when I click on the set main deco option the E4R models are not in the list as option - how do I fix this?

I have researched and it appears those models can be the main unit

Hi, have you already added the two Deco E4s into the Mesh network as satellite units?

"Set Main Deco" needs to select one satellite unit from the existing Mesh network.

If it hasn't been set up, you can choose "Replace Main Deco" under Deco App>"+">"Replace Main Deco":

  @David-TP 

Thank you very much- I got further along and had to reset the E4 unit so it was flashing blue and it gets to 26% but by then the E4 unit turns to white LED colour and then the app says fail to config network settings.  I tried resetting the E4 deco again but it did the same thing.

Any tips?
