I have an existing Deco X55 network that has been running great. I needed another node to cover a black spot and couldn't find any X55 on Amazon so got a X50 instead as they are supposed to be compatible.

I have tried everything to add this X50 to the network but no matter what it never finds it. I have had it plugged in via ethernet in the same room as the main X55 Deco, reset it a number of times, manually connected to the new one wirelessly when it is looking for it but no matter what I do it does not find it.

I can however set it up as a new network with no problem at all. I did this to update the firmware in the hope that that was the issue but once I removed the network and reset the X50 and went back to trying to add it to the X55 network it still does not find it. For some reason it is also still trying to search for the X50 wirelessly even though the unit is plugged directly into the main deco.

Are there any known issues connecting these two models together?
