I have a Deco network based on 3 BE25.

 

To reach a difficult area of the house, I bought a second-hand Deco M3W. When I plug it in, the power LED flashes and then stays lit. A few moments later (often, but not always), the 2.4 Gand 5 G LEDs light up and then go out. After a few moments, only the power LED remains lit, which according to the documentation indicates that the M3W is ready to connect.

 

Except that I can't connect to it. In the Android app (V 3.10.8), I try to add a device, but nothing happens: it searches, but can't find anything. I also tried putting a BE25 in WPS mode (blue flashing light). Still no connection.

 

Does anyone know how to do this? I have this M3W that looks like a brick, I have no access to it, I don't know its configuration, hardware version, name, etc.

Yes, I performed a factory reset, several times in fact.

 

The problem with the documentation you mentioned is that it no longer corresponds to the new versions of the Deco app.

 

Additional details: when the M3W is connected, its Wi-Fi SSID appears as DECO_3A76 with an IP address of 192.168.0.100, a DNS and gateway of 192.168.0.254, but without an Internet connection (my DNS and gateway are 192.168.0.1).

 

It does not respond to ping on 192.168.0.100. There is no http://192.168.0.100 or http://192.168.0.254

 

However, when I do a telnet on 192.168.0.254, I get to a root console. But what can I do with it?
