Hey TP-LINK !!

Can you tell me how do i reduce 2.4 GHz channel congestion? Can i reduce Transmit Powers? I have 5 Deco M4 units at home. Can you tell me how much Transmit Powers will be suitable for my (500) Guz house? My 2.4 GHz Backhaul is disabled and all Deco units are using different channels.

1) Ground Floor Lounge (Main)

2) Ground Floor Bedroom (Ethernet Backhaul)

3) Ground Floor Drawing Room (5 GHz backhaul from Main)

4) First Floor Lounge (5 GHz backhaul from Main)

5) First Floor Bedroom (5 GHz backhaul from First Floor Lounge)

Please & Thank You !! ❤️

Hi, nice to see you again.

All Deco units are using different 2.4GHz channels, which is already the best suggestion to improve the  2.4GHz performance. There are only 11 frequently used channels and 3 non-overlapping choices, and you have 5 Deco M4 units here. In certain ways, the channel congestion is unavoidable.

There hasn't been a reference chart for the transmit power vs wireless coverage. Practice makes perfect. Conducting field tests within your existing network is the most effective way to find the optimal settings.

And Google search recommended it is a best practice to set 2.4 GHz power 6–7 dB lower than 5 GHz power for balanced dual-band coverage.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards.

Please & Thank You !! ❤️
