Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi,

I have two networks running, one for work and one for home. Home network uses the Deco app, enabling me to monitor devices locally and remotely as well.

The work network uses the AX11000. I can access the network with full control using the web-based admin panel and using the Tether app on my phone, as long as i am connected locally. Unlike the Deco, once I am no longer connected to the local network, I have no access to the work network via the Tether app. If I load the app on my phone, it says "No devices Found".

Is there some option to enable this feature that I'm missing?

Thanks

@Bob49685 This is working now, almost, once I realized that I had a 2nd TP-Link ID. Now it works locally and remotely, except for the extender which only shows up locally. Any thoughts on this problem? Device is a RE715x extender.

thanks

Hello @Bob49685 ,

Welcome to our community.

When you try to access the RE715X remotely, what error message do you see? Does it show offline status for RE715X?

Did you created EasyMesh network on the main router and RE715X?

If it is RE715X(EU)_V2, please click here try the beta firmware.

@Joseph-TP Thanks for the reply Joseph.

When I access my devices remotely via the Tether app, My Archer AX11000 shows up as it should. There is no listing for the RE715 at all.

When I access the AX11000 locally via web dashboard, I see the AX11000 and under OneMesh I see the RE715x. Clicking on the RE715X, it brings up the device showing IP, MAC address and the number of devices connected to it, which at this time is 4. Also provided is the link speed for 2.4 and 5. So locally everything is working perfectly, the only hitch is the inability to see the RE when logging in through Tether on my phone. It's not a gamechanger, mostly an annoyance and curiousity as to why.

Also, when using the Tether app locally, the RE715x shows up as an active device.
