Hello.

Due to planned changes in the location of my Omada devices (installing the router, switch, and controller in a 10-inch rack), I'd like to ask an unusual question to owners, especially the ER706W (which is what I have):

Has anyone tried connecting the antennas included with the router using an extension cable? I'm referring to situations where the antenna is connected to the router via, for example, a 3-meter cable.

How does this work, and which cable should I choose? Someone might ask why – I want to avoid situations where a metal rack interferes with the Wi-Fi signal.

You can use a 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz dual-band antenna with an RP-SMA female connector as a replacement; however, we are unable to provide or recommend any specific brands.
