After spending the best part of Christmas Eve trying to set up AirPrint on my HP p1102w printer on my new network, I began suspecting that something on my new router might be blocking. After long googling I found the suggestion that AirPrint might work if I set it up on a guest network.  In fact, this worked.  Now my next question is: which is the different setting preventing AirPrint to function on my main network? When I set up my printer, it can see the main network but the main network doesn't seem to see my printer.

I also found the suggestion that enabling IGMP would solve the problem but unfortunately there is no such option on my AXE5400 settings, as far as I can tell.

  @pieemme

Hi, can I have the firmware version of your Deco AXE5400/Deco XE75?

Are you saying that the HP P1102w printer can connect to the Guest network, but not the Main WiFi network? Would there be any error message when the printer failed to connect to the Main Network?

Deco XE75 should also support an IoT network. Will it connect to the IoT SSID with 2.4GHz only/WPA2 security?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @David-TP Hello,

thanks for your prompt reply.  Yes, I confirm that my printer can connect to the Guest Network, but not to the main network. There is no specific error message, just the blue light stays on when the printer is connected and flashes when it isn't. I tried enabling the IoT network and the printer did connect too.  I can toggle between my networks on my printer setup and the blue connection light showed that I was connecting with the Guest Network and with the IoT network, but when I chose the main network it started flashing again.

My firmware on the main router, as well as on the other three access points is: 1.3.0 Build 20250722 Rel. 38703
