TL-WPA7617 AV1000 Is this compatible with my TL-WPA8631P AV1300Mbps or will it effect the wifi speed, cheers for any information would gratefully appreciated š

In your case, the maximum powerline rate will be capped at the AV1000 level when communicating between these two adapters. This may result in lower actual Wi-Fi and wired speeds compared to using only AV1300 devices.
It is strongly recommended to use adapters from the same series or with similar specifications for the best performance. Mixing different series or models can sometimes lead to reduced network speeds or stability. You can browse suitable models here: Powerline Adapters.
