Deco X60 - 1.4.0 build 20241212 rel. 48194 breaks Wired Connected Devices - Not showing up
Hello,
I have the Deco X60 v3.20 (x3 units).
Few days ago, I got the update 1.4.0 build 20241212 rel.48194 via the TP Link Deco App and besides the mentioned issue which breaks 160Mhz Channel width selection. it also breaks the the lan devices which are no longer show up as "wired" connection and basically wired devices no longer showing up.
I also tried the beta firmware mentioned here (1.4.0_build_20250805_Beta) but it doesn't seem to solve any issue.
Kindly waiting for update which fixes most issues. 🙏

Hi, could you please refer to this link to help me submit the Deco App log:
How about the model numbers of the LAN devices? Are they directly connected to Deco units or via a network switch?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

I've sent the log via Deco App as showing in the link you provided and I've mentioned the issue and the link of this thread.
Only the Main Deco is connected to Modem. (Other 2 Decos are with WiFi - No ethernet backhul)
All other LAN devices are either connected to Modem or to a Switch but none directly connected to any Deco units.
Before the update, the Deco was able to detect and show as wired (with icon) the LAN devices, now it doesn't show them at all or if it show some, it shows them as "offline" while are not and with random names.

Thanks for the update.
Did you set Deco X60 into "Access Point" mode?
Would it be possible to edit the network topology a little bit, such as:
ISP modem router---main Deco--network switch--LAN devices
After that, please check again whether these LAN devices will show up in the Online List.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Sorry, all the network stuff are in my brother's room which working from it and he doesn't want to edit the topology.
I don't know if it plays any role anyways...since it was working fine before that update.

Thanks for the update.
So Deco X60 is actually working on "Access Point" mode, right? (You can check it under Deco App>More>Advanced>Operation Mode)
For the network layout:
ISP modem router---main Deco X60--<WiFi>--2 more satellite Deco X60s
\---a network Switch--wired clients
\--wired clients
As the wired LAN devices are not connected to Deco and Deco is not the DHCP server either, Deco App is not supposed to display these devices in the "Online List".
However, I'm not sure why they are on the original firmware.
Just curious, would there be any reason that you wish to have them shown in the "Online List"?
Best regards.

Yes I've disabled the WiFi of the ISP Moderm router, and connected Deco to work as Access Point.
Yes, the network layout you mentioned is correct.
Deco supposed to display these LAN devices on the Online List with the icon of "wired", even when are not directly connected to Deco and to be able to detect for example the PC with "Desktop-Name" properly, it was the same with my previous Deco M4 and it was the same with Deco X60. Only after the recent update it broke.
The reason is, I simply wanna monitor the whole Network (not just WiFi devices) from the Deco app, which is convenience and because the App used to work like that.

@Retrial - I've had the same issue, similar setup. Since upgrading any devices plugged into the ISP router aren't showing in the Deco App, they used to in the same configuration. If I plug them ALL into the switch and have the switch connected to port 2 of the main deco and port one into the ISP router, they appear.
