My range extenders are not connecting to wifi.  I have tried resetting both the router and the extenders.  The extenders light up but the wifi light does not come on.  I have tp-link cameras connected to the extenders.  They are picking up a wifi signal but still are saying 'waiting for wifi to connect'.  I have also reset the cameras.

The connection may have failed in late December as that is the last time the security cameras show any activity.    I really don't know what the problem is.  Any suggestions?

BTW I attempted to connect via the website but it failed. So I've been trying to do the set up thru the Tether app.

Thanks for any help.

Hello @deniseA1467_ ,

Welcome to our community.

Please confirm that you have successfully reset the extender. Please keep the power on, then press the reset button with a pin for 1 second to reset the extender.

For more suggestions, please refer to  What should I do if I fail to configure TP-Link Range Extender?

  @Joseph-TP

I have tried resetting the extenders.  The wifi light is coming on with some of the extenders but when I try to connect a camera I get a warning: wating for wifi connectivity.  The cameras require 2.4ghz connection which is what the extenders are.

I'm beginning to think the cameras may be the culprit, but the manufacturer has now gone out of business.

Thank you for the suggestion.
