Hi,

 

I have a X60 since a few years, I've got 3 modules. 2 of the 3 modules are doing a constant noise, like a hard drive, I have rebooted them and updated them but it doesn't change anything, what can I do to solve it ?

I've tried the factory reset but it did'nt change the noise.

I've moved the satellite Deco unit and it was the same.

But I also tried to change the power supply with the one working with the no noise Deco unit....and it worked !

The problem came from it, I'm gonna change it and it should work great again. smiley

Hi, welcome to the community.

How about the hardware version of your Deco X60? You can find it on the bottom product label, such as V3.0/V3.2/V4.0.

Have you tried a factory reset by holding the reset pinhole for 1s?

They are both in V3.0

No I haven't tried a factory reset, do you think it could solve that ?

Thanks for the update.

The factory reset is worth a try.

It is also recommended to temporarily move the satellite Deco units elsewhere in case they are affected by the nearby electronic devices
