Hello Everyone

I intend to setup a mesh system for my Airtel Xstreme Fiber router having 200 mbps speed. I am planning to install a single unit of Deco X50 Ax3000. The main Airtel Huawei router is in the passage which mostly covers the entire house, but the signal strength is no that good in some places. Please let me know whether adding a mesh system with Deco X50 Ax3000 will improve the signal strength signaficently?

Hi, welcome to the community.

The main Deco needs to be connected to the ISP modem/modem router via an Ethernet cable. So if you only purchase one Deco, I don't think it would help extend the wireless coverage. 

If Airtel Xstreme Fiber router supports EasyMesh, a standard EasyMesh range extender might be a better choice:

Thank you for your reply. I heard that the WiFI extender will reduce the WiFi speed to almost 50%. Anyway I will continue with my current setup and then see after few days, Thanks again.
