Model: Archer AX3000
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Whenever i try to access my AX 3000 through the tether app, the app enters into configuration. After finishing, the next time i open it again, i have to configure it again. It does not save the settings.

My AX3000 seems to be both a router and a modem, all in the same unit, if that helps.

Hi,

If your "AX3000" router does indeed have a built-in modem, then it could likely be one of TP-Link's "Aginet" models. Can you see the word "Aginet" printed on the router or the box? For these models the "TP-Link Aginet" app would have to be used, not the Tether app.

In case your "AX3000" with modem was a "Deco" device, then you would need to use the "TP-Link Deco" app.

By the way, the actual model name of your "AX3000" router should be printed on a sticker on the backside or the underside of the router.
