@Kevin_Z  , @Sunshine or any other technician...

Hi, I'm back again after a few years since 2021. Back then, I created a thread to fix a Multicast problem on the Brazilian 2.0 version of this router model. (The full background is available here: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/509434).

I'm gonna be straight to the point...

  • Could you please check if the following firmware (GLOBAL) is available, somewhere, somehow, in Brazilian Portuguese?

TL-WR941HP(UN)_V2_191125 Published Date: 2020-03-09

@Kevin_Z  , in the past, you gave me a Beta release:

TLWR941HPv2_br-up-ver2-0-1-P1[20190522-rel56708]_2019-05-23_09.11.37

However, it did not solve my problem or those of thousands of Brazilians.

I've faith that there's a solution for this case.

By the way, forget TP-Link BR support. All they say is that support for this model is discontinued, but they never launched the solution for Brazilians like us, even when support was available. Imagine how many Brazilians bought this router and never got a solution for this issue.

Hello @ddlnegocios ,

Welcome to our community.

We haven't received any explicit notification that a BR version will be provided, and the release notes don't explicitly mention any fixes for your previous issues.

You can try manually updating the firmware; if it's compatible, you should be able to update successfully.

Your previous feedback was in 2021, more than four years ago. The device should be out of warranty. Even if the device is out of warranty, we'd still be happy to assist you with any network-related problems.

However, as Local Support stated, this model is indeed EOL (End of Service), so a new firmware update is unlikely. You might also consider purchasing a new device to meet your needs.

Best Regards.
