Persistent stability issue with one Deco X50 unit
I’m having a persistent stability issue with one of my Deco X50 units. I have two Deco X50s, both on the same latest firmware and hardware version.
For clarity, I’ll refer to them as:
Deco A (problematic unit)
Deco B (stable unit)
Issue summary
Deco A repeatedly turns red and restarts itself after some time. This happens in both Router mode and Access Point mode, and it continues even when Deco A has no Ethernet cable connected.
Tested Deco A as the main unit (Router mode and AP mode):
It worked fine for several weeks in AP mode. Then I got bridging network errors, then switched to router mode. It worked fine for few weeks with no issues. Then after a while following started to happen.
After running for a while, Deco A turns red and reboots on its own.
I attempted troubleshooting steps such as removing the second Deco from the network.
The reboot behavior still occurs, even with no Ethernet cable connected.
Swapped the main unit to Deco B (Router mode):
With Deco B as the main unit and Deco A removed, the system is stable.
Added Deco A back as the second unit:
After a while Deco A is added (wireless), it again goes red and restarts repeatedly.
Deco B remains stable throughout.
Tried different physical/network setups for Deco A:
Connected Deco A via Ethernet cable directly from Deco B .
Moved Deco A very close to Deco B to rule out weak signal.
Rebooted units / re-added the node.
Result is the same: Deco A goes red and restarts regardless of setup.
I couldnt find anything related at the logs. What should I look for at the logs? I can share them if it helps.
