Confused !

Recently used this Whole Home Mesh Wi Fi AP with a TP Router , I had change Broadband provider to EE which I had to include their own extender as I could not get this Mesh box to pick up the main EE Router. I still have a second TP Mesh box that will not extend further , sitting not far away as I was hoping this would extend to outside and also include a security camera previously connected via TP Router ,

So why is it that will not connect to EE Router. I have tried reset but just blinks Blue. Also pressed wps on both TP Mesh and Extender (EE)

Any help appreciated! Thanks.

  @Alfapat just add , my whole Mesh seems to cling onto my previous Broadband decider , despite using reset. I can see this on my phone . If I switch off the power the old network disappears. Is there any work around this please

  @Alfapat

Hi, may I know how many HX220 units you have?

If there are  2 or 3 HX220s, have you tried to connect one of the HX220s via an Ethernet cable to the EE broadband router, then the rest of the HX220s can wirelessly connect to the main HX220?

Even though HX220 and the EE broadband router are both advertised as EasyMesh-compatible, they might still likely implement different versions of the EasyMesh protocol (e.g., R4 vs. R3). Version mismatches disrupt core functions like multi-AP controller election or band steering, as newer iterations mandate features absent in older implementations. Cross-vendor alignment on protocol revisions is critical for seamless mesh formation.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
