Model: Archer AXE300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0

My Router suddenly stopped working, it has been constantly flashing orange and turns blue for a bit and back to orange. My network works just fine. Tried factory resetting the router, not responsive. Tried restarting the entire router and factory resetting, same flasshing orange. Tried to tap into the configuration to try to update the firmware via wired connection, doesnt seem to detect any connection. What the solution for this?

Hello @Junweilew ,

Welcome to our community.

Here are some steps you can try:
1. Check the Power Source:
• Try plugging the router into a different power socket to ensure the issue isn't related to the power supply.
• If possible, use a different power adapter that matches the router's specifications.

2. Hard Reset the Router:
• Use a pin to press and hold the reset button (usually labeled RESET or WPS/RESET) for at least 10 seconds, until you see all the LEDs flash momentarily. Then release the button and wait for the router to reboot.

If you have tried all of the above and the router still remains unresponsive (flashing orange and not accessible via wired connection), the device may have a hardware fault.

Please contact TP-Link support for further assistance. Be sure to mention all the troubleshooting steps you have already tried.

  @Junweilew

This behaviiour could be due to a router FW / HW issue or a power supply unit failure.

To factory reset the router press and hold its reset button for about 10 seconds.

If that doesn't help, contacting your local support would be the best bet for further assitance.
