Model: Archer VR900v
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 0.9.1 v0068.0 Build 200302 RC.36602n

2026-01-31 03:13:26 [4] VoIP: ASSERT: voip_findInCallEndpt:3697 sip < SIP_MAX

is an error from the system log.

I have two SIP connections, but from the log, I cannot see if one or both is causing the problem.

If the time stamp is correct, it is happening at three in the morning.
Telephony does not work after this, but a reboot fixes it. Obviously, this is not tolerable. You do not know you cannot be reached until some days later, you notice you have not had any calls.

Hello @mimble ,

Welcome to our community.

Here are the recommended steps to address it:
1. Upgrade the router's firmware to the latest version. This is the most important step, as firmware updates often include fixes for VoIP stability issues like the one you're experiencing. Please refer to this guide for instructions: How to upgrade firmware of TP-Link xDSL Modem Router
2. Disable SIP ALG. Log in to the web interface at http://tplinkmodem.net, go to Advanced > NAT Forwarding > ALG, uncheck "Enable SIP ALG", and click Save. This can sometimes cause instability with SIP sessions.
3. Check your Telephony registration status. Go to Advanced > Telephony and confirm that both SIP accounts show a registered status (green check symbol).
4. Review DND & Call Blocking settings. Go to Advanced > Telephony > DND & Call Blocking and ensure no unexpected entries are present that could interfere with calls.

If these steps don't help, please contact local support for further assistance.
