Hi,

 

I have an Archer AX53 (EU, no idea what version as it isn't located on the label) Gigabit Wi-Fi 6 router, and after searching up for DoT support the article points to Advanced > Network > Internet, but "DNS Privacy" doesn't exist over there. However, when I go to search "DNS Privacy" in the search bar, it does give me a valid hyperlink, but only takes me to the same page with absolutely nothing to show me.

 

I believe this router has reached EOL? I checked the official list to see it reaching EOL on 01/07/2026. I saw the DoH post supporting the AX55, but unfortunately JB-HiFi doesn't have it, as I used their voucher to purchase the AX53.

 

Will the AX53 ever be getting any updates, or DoH or DoT settings? Because if the setting exists in search, why doesn't it exist as the actual setting?

  @20f06f798d194 Yes, it seemed all the versions of AX53 have crossed EOL. I am quite sad about mine too, which is AX53 V2.8. :( I was also expecting DoH/DoT with an update, but they barely provided any feature to this router. Guess I'll look for another brand next time.

  @20f06f798d194 I really hope DoH and DoT support arrives soon. I’m currently using an Archer C80 as an EasyMesh node, but I’ve actually considered switching it to be my main router simply because it supports DoH and DoT
