Issues with Movistar IPTV and Internet apps (Netflix) on Deco X75 - Triple Play configuration
To the Technical Support Team,
I am reaching out regarding a configuration issue with my Deco X75 and my ISP (Movistar, Spain).
Current Setup:
-
ISP Router: Set to "Bridge Mode" (Monopuesto).
-
Deco X75: Connected to the ISP Router via Port 1.
-
Port 2: Connected to a Desktop PC (Internet works fine).
-
Port 3: Connected to the Movistar IPTV Set-Top Box (STB).
The Problem: I am currently using the "Bridge" ISP Profile on Port 3. With this setting, I can watch live TV channels perfectly. However, the STB has no internet access. This means that integrated apps such as Netflix, YouTube, and the Video on Demand (VOD) catalog do not work, as the STB is isolated from the Deco's local network.
When I try to switch to a "Custom Profile" to fix this, I encounter the following:
-
If I enable VLAN IPTV (ID: 2, Priority: 4) and keep the Internet VLAN untagged (since the ISP router is already in bridge mode), the Deco loses its internet connection entirely (LED turns red).
-
The Deco X75 lacks a specific "Movistar Spain" profile that would normally handle the mapping of VLAN 6 (Data) and VLAN 2 (IPTV) automatically.
Questions for Support:
-
How can I configure the Deco X75 so that Port 3 provides both the Multicast IPTV stream (VLAN 2) and local Internet access (for Netflix/VOD)?
-
Is there a way to enable IGMP Proxy/Snooping so the STB receives a local IP address (192.168.68.x) and can reach the internet while still receiving the TV signal?
-
Is there a specific firmware or hidden setting to correctly handle the VLAN tagging for Movistar Spain when the main router is in Bridge mode?
I need the STB to be part of my local network to access internet services, without losing the IPTV functionality.
Looking forward to your technical assistance.
Best regards,
Álvaro
