I was looking for a cheap alternative router with per device Bandwidth Limit options,
The UK Page has emulators showing it has the option to do so,

But unfortunately my country page doesn't have any Emulator & even on the US page, its a dated one missing the feature
it seems & is lacking even on firmware updates far behin than uk.

Since only US variants are being sold in my country, Was wondering if it shall allow me to update firmware from UK region,
in case US variant actually doesn't have the feature?

Unfortunately,
The IN (US) page didn't have the latest updated firmware build compared to UK,
Archer C64(US)_V1_1.13.15 Build 240812
which was missing the feature.

I went ahead bought the IN/US variant, got hw version 1.8 (which was missing the feature, even after normal updates to whatever was latest from the router's fw update page & was missing any fw on the IN page) as well
Router Auto updated to a random firmware, which still was missing the feature.
Also Firmware missing on its official IN page for hw1.8 too:

while on checking v1.0 fw, it was showing the same old one as well that it updated to.

and then went on to try the Global version firmware manually instead,
which is of latest build as of now:
Archer C64(EU)_V1_1.14.30 Build 250729

Which does have the features I was looking for & it works flawlessly.

In general, you can't install EU region based FW on a US region based device - most probably you'll get an error message.

As per the FW release history the Bandwidth Control feature was implemented in FW release v1.13.1 - details.

That's only for Guest network unfortunately, My use case scenario is to hard-cap the speeds via LAN to certain devices, which was easily possible earlier via older TP-Link Routers via Bandwidth Control, yet finding a hard time to find a cheap gigabit router with the feature. C64 has speed limit option on the UK region firmware, confirmed by the emulator, yet not being able to be sure about the US version, considering they didn't have any mention of it in firmware updates page & has a very dated firmware emulator on the US page. Was wondering, If UK variant has it, is it guaranteed to have the same features on the US/IN variant too?

There's a newer FW release on the Indian support portal - Archer C64(US)_V1_1.13.15 Build 240812. Try it and check if there's any improvement.

Apart from that, your best bet is to contact your local support with this question.
