BE550 v2: BETA Build 1.3.1 Build 20251229. Is their being done anything on this firmware ?
If not, I would like to go back to official firmware release. How can I accomplish that ? Just a regular update or
do I have to use a temporary version to switch the the "older" release branch ?
It seems odd and trust undermining that the firmware has been "stalled" on a beta release!

Hello @Smadsen ,
Welcome to our community.
This version of software can't be degraded to the previous official version.
The exact duration of Pre-release firmware trials typically varies. May I know what problems with network usage on the router are? If you want to update to the latest official firmware, you can enable the Auto Update button on the Firmware update page.

There is always a way to return to an older release. The question is if the manufacturer/"support group" are willing to make the tools available to the customers/"beta testers".
Is there an eta on the next beta release ? Do you have a public roadmap, where customers can see any progress being made ? This would minimize the uncertainty regarding the actual progress of the product.
The auto-update function is nice, however it requires an update to be release though.

Why do you choose to avoid answering my question ?
Do you have a public roadmap ?
Is any work being done?
How can I revert to official released firmware?
If not, how can I get my money back ?

Hi @Smadsen ,
Downgrading your firmware requires professional assistance. We don't recommend downgrading across versions because all our analysis is based primarily on the latest firmware version.
If you urgently need to downgrade, I can consult with technical staff and try escalating your case.
Regarding the public roadmap you mentioned, I'm afraid I cannot provide it, as I am not a software developer. Furthermore, we cannot know in advance when an official version will be released.
Additionally, firmware release dates may vary by region, which is why I suggest contacting Local Support for information more tailored to your area.
If you encounter any usage challenges, I'm happy to continue offering advice, and please provide as much detail as possible.
Thanks for your kind understanding and cooperation.

It is just bad customer service.
Where I come from we often sell our devices on the second hand market. Selling a product with beta firmware on it
can be "a challenge". It is far from ideal.
I know my way around a terminal/shell and I do have access to both windows and linux, which means I would be able to do some tricky stuff by myself if
TP Link would just provide the tools and a guide for it.
That being said, I haven't tried downgrading using the official firmware to verify if your claim of that not being an option is correct.
You really should offer your customers a way to revert to official released firmware, ensuring they can sell the product on the second hand market if they would want to do so.
