Summary:

Please add DoH (DNS over HTTPS) and DoT (DNS over TLS) functionality to the AXE5400 Wi-Fi 6 Router.

Functionality & Benefits:

I use my router to manage my home network. I just bought this new router (the AXE5400) because of its speed and Wi-Fi connectivity. Setting the router up was a breeze, but I noticed something: I cannot configure DoH/DoT for this router. 

Under normal circumstances, I use the DoH/DoT feature for more secure internet connections, encryption, and to filter out nuisance domains. This is important because my wife and I both work from home, and we both rely on our internet connections for security, connectivity, and ease of use. Nuisance ads look unprofessional during demos and meetings, and added encryption functionality makes us feel secure from unwanted tracking and cyber attacks.

I change up what services I use to keep up with the ever changing world of tech, but as of today, my DNS of choice is LibreDNS. It offers encryption and ad blocking, perfect for my use case, but it has a strict DoH/DoT requirement that I cannot meet with the AXE5400.

Example Implementation:

I noticed that the AX5500 has exactly what I'm looking for in terms of DoH/DoT functionality. I like how configurable the settings are and how straight forward the user interface is. Anything implemented on the AXE5400 that behaves similarly to what was implemented on the AX5500 would service my needs perfectly.
