Model: Archer AX55   Archer AX18
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.10 Build 20251119 rel.50509(4555)

I'm trying to use an AX18 (V1, up to date) router as a satellite in an EasyMesh system with AX55 as the main router. This network operates in the 192.168.16.xx IP range.

Following the standard instruction in Tether I can add the AX18 router, but the setup does not pickup the IP range from the master, but uses the default IP address of 192.168.0.1 for the router, and the default DHCP settings, so that clients of this router cannot communicate with those of the main router. I cannot find any way to manage the settings of the satellite router once it has been connected to the main one, so cannot change these IP settings.

Is there a solution to this impasse?

Hi,

When you log into the Archer AX55 and then tap on the icon for the Archer AX18 satellite, does it state the signal is "Strong" or "Weak" or even "Offline"?

In case the AX18 was shown with weak signal or offline, then this would be a reason for the AX18 not picking up the DHCP settings from the AX55.
