Deco X20 stopped downloading from Google play
Ive just got the dredded Deco can't download from Google Play.
No changes on my end. All other websites are ok.
All Android devices when on Deco wifi partially download or are Paused when attempting updates for apps from Google Play.
Only started happening in last 24 hours
Take device off Deco wifi and they download fine off 4G/5G. Have tried on other wifi and it's fine so it's not Google play.
Have rebooted Deco and all devices
Have changed DNS to 8.8.8.8 to.try to flush DNS cache (was on 9.9.9.9) but no joy
Removed all QOS
Removed all intrusion protection and filtering
No parental controls are on
All devices affected are only on Deco
No changes to network have been made
Running Dynamic IP in Router Mode
Please help this is frustrating

@David-TP Hi David thanks for your reply. Nice to see you are still around
Ive got an update in the last hour!
Thanks - I was on TPG temporarily on a Dynamic IP last week whilst switching backbone hardware (FTTP Upgrade) - the hardware was done early last week and was fine on Dynamic IP until yesterday, then just stopped for Google Play - odd.
What I can deduce now is that yesterday my IP was doing my WAN move to a Static IP that I maintain on AAPT - I have a feeling the provisioning may have started yesterday (as this is when it went down) but they have said they dont really do much before the transfer window.
This morning the WAN port completed and I updated the Deco to Static IP again and all has started working - All services are running normally on 8.8.8.8 DNS . I normally use 9.9.9.9 but will see if I want to do this change or leave as 8.8.8.8
So weirdly Google Play is back up and running without issue.
I read the link on the Subnet Mask and the AAPT static one is 255.255.255.252 - not sure what the TPG one was as I didnt take a screenshot before I switched it
My feeling is there is a possible table corruption in the Deco when i moved it to Dynamic IP
Anyway will watch this space if anything changes
Thanks

Just tried running on the Andrioid device with a VPN. As soon as its on (on the same network as the Deco just with a VPN running) it can access the Google Play store and start downloading and installs fine. Without the VPN on the same network it might start downloading then pause - it never installs though. Something is blocking the traffic to the play store servers

Hi, nice to see you again.
May I know your internet service provider?
There is a beta firmware for Deco X20_V1, which has fixed the issue here:
Resolving Limited Accessibility to Google Services on Specific ISP Networks (Starlink/Launtel)
I think it might help with the reported issue here. You can find it in the private message.
Please let me know how it works.
Best regards.

Hey, thanks for the update.
I'm glad to know the issue has been fixed
.
Actually, there hasn't been feedback on TPG about the Subnet mask issue before, but the problem description is quite similar. So I thought the beta firmware might be worth a try.
Anyway, it's good to know everything is back to normal.
Best regards.
