Model: Deco BE25
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.7 Build 20260114 Rel. 14971

If I have a powercut my Main Deco decides to change its Lan IP from my setting of 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.1

I have several devices with static IP address which then no longer work.

The Deco also does not automatically reconnect to the internet without a power cycle again.

My Internet connection is through a VirginMedia router set in Modem Only Mode.

We have had several power blips this year so far and this is making me regret owning this device and making me consider a full swap out of my 7 Deco AP's.

Does anyone have any idea on how to make this Deco survive a powercut and reboot working. My M5 and M9 units never had this problem.

Cheers.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Can you consistently reproduce the following issue after a power cut of the main Deco BE25:

  • The LAN IP switches from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.1

If yes, before making any further changes(such as another power cycle) this time, could you please help me save the web UI system log:

Deco Web Management UI Overview

If yes, I'd like to follow up on your case via email. Could you please update the email with the following details:

  • What is the IPV4 internet connection type, PPPoE or Dynamic IP?

-Please save a screenshot of the IPV4 settings on the Deco APP.

  • Do you have a customized DNS server on the Deco Mesh?

  • Please save some screenshots of the network map and Mesh Backhaul types on the Deco App, such as

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.
