Small office, using ER706W and EAP650
ER706W connected to ISP router, using DHCP in between. EAP650 connected ER706W using DHCP as well and through wired.
Problem is EAP650 is not perform up to good performance, Speedtest shows users can get upto 100mbps and below. Sometime even worse and latency is not improved.
Any way to increase the performance of EAP650? Firmware is latest and onboarded to OMODA controller cloud.
Tried to use ER706W as meshmaster but EAP650 fail to adopt due to username/password incorrect, did a number of time to reset it still cannot adopt.

It is highly likely because the uplink speed of the EAP650 has negotiated down to 100 Mbps. You can verify this on the controller interface:
This is typically caused by poor-quality Ethernet cables. We recommend replacing the cable with a different one, and, if possible, using a shorter one.

However, for your specific scenario, setting up a mesh network is not recommended because you can use an Ethernet cable to bridge the EAP650. As long as you replace the cable to allow the EAP650 to properly negotiate a 1000M connection, a wired network setup will provide faster and more stable performance compared to a mesh network.
