When i try to flash my router with one of these i get an fail to upload error

What shall i do ?

Hi,

Do you know how this firmware version 1.1.0 Build 20240509 Rel. 51718 got onto your Archer AX23 V1.20 ?

Did you maybe contact TP-Link Support previously because of some specific problem and they emailed you this firmware?

The regular firmware 1.1.0 should be Build 20230725 Rel. 56344.

There have been other cases reported here when users weren't able to upgrade from certain out-of-sequence firmware versions.

Oh, now I see. So the firmware currently on your router is the file "AX23_nl_1-1-0-P1[20240509-rel51718]_2024-05-09_14.56.12.bin".

My guess is that since this particular firmware is specifically made for the "nl" region, it can only be upgraded by another firmware that is also specifically made for the "nl" region.

However, the newer firmware files posted by TP-Link are all for the "eu_jp_kr_ru" regions.

You are right, you need to write to TP-Link support and explain it to them.
