Dual-WAN Support for Archer GE800 (BE19000)
Hi TP-Link Community Team,
I am writing to formally request the implementation of Dual-WAN support for the Archer GE800.
As we know, the GE800 is a flagship gaming router. For pro gamers and streamers, connection redundancy is a critical requirement. I noticed that the Archer BE800 recently received Dual-WAN functionality via a firmware update, and since the GE800 is its gaming counterpart with similar high-end specs, it's only logical that it should also support this feature.
Why this is essential for the GE800:
-
Failover & Redundancy: Gamers and streamers cannot afford a disconnect. Having a secondary WAN (e.g., a 5G backup or a second ISP) is a must-have for a premium device.
-
Hardware Capability: With its dual 10G ports and multiple 2.5G ports, the GE800 has the perfect hardware layout to support Load Balancing or Failover.
-
Parity with BE800: Since the BE800 now has this feature, GE800 users are eagerly waiting for the same level of software support for their high-performance gaming setups.
I believe adding this would greatly increase the value of the GE800 in the competitive market. Are there any plans to bring the Dual-WAN feature to the GE800 in an upcoming firmware release?
Looking forward to your feedback.
Best regards,
Gabriel Victor
