Model: Archer TBE550E
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 5.4.0.3119

For the past couple of days, my TBE550E WiFi 7 PCIE network adapter has been constantly dropping network connectivity. It occurs every few minutes, with Event Viewer logging repeated 'Tx hang count' events (Event ID 6000) against the driver during the drop outs.

Things I've tried:

Uninstalling the driver via Device Manager, restarting and reinstalling the latest driver.

Resetting the network settings in Windows 11 to remove and reinstall all network devices.

Forcing the PCIE slot to Gen 3 in BIOS rather than Auto.

Ensured the device's power management is set to not be allowed to be powered down to conserve energy.

Any advice? Or is this sounding more like a hardware fault?

Hello @Agent_Six ,

Welcome to our community.

Here are some additional troubleshooting steps that may help:
1. Verify network stability with another device: Connect another device to the same Wi-Fi network to confirm whether the network itself is stable. If that device also experiences disconnections, it may be that your router connection is unstable.
2. Disable built-in Wi-Fi adapter: If your computer has a built-in Wi-Fi adapter, disable it in Device Manager to avoid potential interference with your TP-Link adapter.
3. Test proximity to router: Move your computer closer to the router (within 10-15 feet) to test if signal strength is a contributing factor to the disconnections.
4. Try a different PCIe slot: If you haven't already, try moving the adapter to a different PCIe slot on your motherboard (e.g., if it's in PCIe x16, move it to PCIe x1, or vice versa).
5. Update motherboard BIOS: Verify your motherboard's model number and visit its official website to check for and install any available BIOS updates, as this can sometimes resolve PCIe device compatibility.

If these steps don't help, please contact local support for further assistance.
