Hello @SilviuMOSH ,
Welcome to our community.
The Printer Sharing feature on TP-Link Archer routers allows you to share a USB printer with different computers connected to the router network. When you change the router's LAN IP subnet, the printer controller application needs to be reconfigured to look for the printer on the new network.
Here are the steps that may help:
1. Verify USB Sharing is enabled: Log in to your router's web management interface and go to Advanced > USB > USB Storage Device (or Printer Sharing section). Make sure the USB printer sharing feature is enabled.
2. Reconfigure the printer on your computer: Since the network subnet has changed, you'll need to remove the old printer configuration and set it up again:
• Go to your computer's Control Panel > Devices and Printers
• Remove/delete the existing Brother C300 printer
• Restart your computer to clear any cached network settings
• Reinstall the printer using the new network subnet (192.168.0.x)
3. Check network connectivity: Ensure your computer has obtained an IP address in the new subnet (192.168.0.x range) from the router.
4. Access the printer via the new IP: When setting up the printer, make sure to use the router's new LAN IP address (likely 192.168.0.1) to access the USB printer.
