Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 150091

Hello I also have issues with internet profile changing to a default one that it's not working and I cannot delete it. That's happening the last 3 weeks. Software is updated. Can you let me know what to do? I changed today the internet settings to manual, created a new profile copying an existing one that it's working and disabled the xlat mode which seemed to have no internet access at all when it was enabled; it was working though when it's auto but the internet profile keeps changing to a default one unfortunately and internet not working under that one

Hello @Pant37 ,

Welcome to our community.

It seems that your 4G/5G router keeps automatically switching from your manually created working profile to a default profile that doesn't provide internet access, and you're unable to delete this problematic default profile.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Verify and recreate the APN profile: Go to Advanced > Network > Internet/Mobile WAN page. Since you've already created a manual profile, please double-check that all the parameters (APN, username, password, authentication type, etc.) match exactly what your ISP requires. Even small discrepancies can cause the router to fall back to a default profile.

2. Try selecting a different available profile: On the same Internet/Mobile WAN page, check if there are other profiles in the drop-down list that you haven't tested yet. Sometimes carriers have multiple APN profiles that might work better.

3. Change Network Search mode: Go to Advanced > Network > Internet/Mobile WAN page and change Network Search from "Auto" to "Manual", then select your ISP manually. This can help prevent the router from automatically switching profiles.

4. Factory reset as a last resort: If it doesn't help, try performing a factory reset by pressing and holding the reset button for about 10 seconds, then reconfigure your working profile from scratch. Make sure to note down all your settings before resetting.
