Model: VX800v
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.11.0 3.0.0 v603c.0 Build 250702 Rel.50756n

I want to turn off 2.4 GHz wireless and do so via the web interface. No problem.

An hour later, I look and the 2.4 GHz wireless has been enabled again. This occurs repeatedly.

I have turned off band steering and onemesh. I do have a wireless schedule (goes off at midnight).

Is this another bug in the vx800v ? The 2.4 GHz won't stay off ?

Hello @mimble ,

Please ensure your firmware is updated to the latest version: VX800v(DE)_V1_0.18.0 Build 260203.

As far as I know, it will be fixed in the next firmware release. Please keep an eye out for future firmware releases.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Hello @mimble ,

Welcome to our community.

You mentioned the 2.4G band being automatically enabled. Does this happen after the wireless schedule takes effect? Does it occur at a fixed time?

Additionally, if the modem has been rebooted, it may revert to a state where all WiFi bands are enabled.

However, since the VX800v is an ISP-customized device, you may need to contact Local Support for further assistance regarding more design details.

@Joseph-TP The schedule should turn off all wifi for a few hours after midnight. It does nothing during the day / evening.
The 2.4 GHz is being enabled regardless of the time of day. It does not happen instantly. It remains off for a while, but when I look an hour later, it has been activated again.
There have been almost no reboots of the router. That is not the problem.
