Firmware Version: 1.8.0 0.8.0 v00a0.0 Build 230427 Rel.26754n

Hi, the option "Auto disconnect and reconnect at(HH:MM)" for PPPoE connections under "Advanced >> Network >> Internet >> Add" doesn't work.

The router's system time is correct but there is no disconnect and reconnect at all.

Might this be a firmware bug?


BTW: When a third party call is prompted the callers phone number doesn't show up on the display of a phone connected via TAE. Is there a way to get that working?

Hello, the firmware update obviously failed. All lights of the router are off. It seems to be bricked.

 

Is there a way to recover?

Hello @Sir_Vival ,

 

Please try:

  • Plug the modem router into a different electrical outlet.
  • Use a different power adapter.

 

If it doesn't help, perform a factory reset: Use a pin to press and hold the reset button for about 6–10 seconds until the lights briefly turn on, then release and allow the device to reboot.

  @Sir_Vival This really sounds like a firmware or scheduling bug in the router. If system time is correct but PPPoE doesn’t reconnect, the feature may not be triggering properly. A firmware update or reset might help confirm if it’s a software issue. JJ77
