According to the website of the Wi-Fi Alliance their certification for the F1611A includes "Wi-Fi EasyMesh™".

https://www.wi-fi.org/product-finder?keywords=f1611a          (click on the paper-with-quill icon to download the certificate)

That means the behavior you are seeing is as expected when the F1611A and RE330 are at factory settings (i.e. out of the box).

If you want to use the RE330 as a regular range extender with custom SSIDs, then you need to go to the "EasyMesh" menu of the RE330 and deactivate EasyMesh.

Hi,

This usually happens if your Wi-Fi router supports OneMesh or EasyMesh and this feature is enabled.

If the above was the case, then you need to deactivate (i.e. disable) the Mesh feature before connect the RE330 to the router.

May we know what is the brand and model of your Wi-Fi router?
