Today I received an Archer BE550 router. Sadly I've had to return the device due to the restricted capability of the DHCP Server. For some unknown reason TP-Link have restricted the ability of the DHCP to  192.168.0.*. This severely limits the device. There seems to be no need for this restriction. The Firmware needs to be updated to support the full range of options  10.x.x.x, 172.16.x.x, 192.168.x.x . Please be aware of this restriction if you planning to buy this device.

Hi,

If you want to change the IP address pool of the DHCP server to a different subnet, then you first need to change the router's LAN IP address to that subnet. For example, in order to use the subnet 172.16.x.x change the router's LAN IP address to something like 172.16.0.1 and the subnet mask to 255.255.0.0. The DHCP server's IP address pool will then follow it.
