Dear Support,

 

I have purchased a used TP Link Router from a Store, it was resealed. After installing it at home I realized I cannot login with my TP Link ID even after resetting it to factory settings, can you please assist me? I have send an e-mail tu support.forum@tp-link.com but I wanted to as if this can somehow be prioritized since I actually host a server behind the router with lots of sensitive data, and I disconnected it currently because I do not know who could take control of the router. 

 

Your help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks for contacting our community.

 

To apply to unbind your TP-Link ID, you need to provide the image or PDF file of the POP (Proof of Purchase) or receipt, and a picture of the label sticker from the bottom/back showing the MAC address. Afterwards, the relevant personnel will follow the procedure to apply for the unbinding of your TP-Link ID.
