Adaptor failure wifi trashed
Power led on, wifi led on only. TPplc reports only this unit, the 4 other powerline units missing. All wifi in the house appears off, yet router looks ok.
This is what happens when I plug this unit in.
As soon as it's unplugged then everything works properly.
Factory rest doesn't work at all. Something seriously wrong with this adaptor, how can I fix it if it won't reset. At present it is unusable because it causes whole house wifi devastation.
Help please. Preferably some other than throw it under a bus!

Thanks, forced reset fixed it. Although discovered a problem setting the adapter as a repeater due to it's inbuilt DNS remaining active and interfering with the router, had to reset again and use its native WiFi settings. Now all is well.

Hello @Gmincca ,
Welcome to our community.
May I know the model of your router? And who is your ISP? Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help:
1. Try alternative reset methods:
• Press and hold the pair button for at least 10-15 seconds (try holding even longer, up to 20 seconds)
• While holding the reset/pair button, unplug the device, keep holding the button, then plug it back in while still holding
• Try resetting while the device is in a different electrical outlet
2. Try different wall outlets:
Plug the adapter into different wall outlets in different rooms to rule out any electrical issues with specific outlets. Make sure it's plugged directly into the wall outlet, not into power strips or surge protectors.
3. Isolate the device for firmware update:
If you can access the device through tpPLC utility (even briefly), try updating it to the latest firmware. Instructions can be found here: How to upgrade firmware
4. Test the powerline pairing:
After attempting the reset, try pairing it with just one other powerline adapter (unplug the other 3 temporarily) following this guide: How to secure (pair) the Powerline Network
Best Regards.
