P9 all but main deco appear offline in the app
Friday
Model: Deco P9
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.0 20250804

Everything was fine until maybe a week ago when all but main deco went offline in the app, but the network works just fine. Reinstalled the app, rebooted all the decos and the main router, no luck. Decos are in AP mode, they have reserved ip adreses in the router dhcp (why no fixed ip setting in the app?!) and they all work fine and respond to ping, only the app says they are offline.

They are v2.0 EU all on latest firmware, 1 main deco and 4 satelites, 1 sat is via lan, 1 sat is via powerline, and last 2 are via wifi mesh

Sorry for the late reply. This sounds like a display issue in the Deco app.

Would you mind referring to this link to submit the Deco App log

Need help with the Deco app, setup, Ethernet backhaul, network switch or rolling back firmware? Router or AP mode? https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/699816?page=1

Hi, welcome to the community. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
This behavior is often related to memory management under certain network configurations, especially when there are multiple satellite units(≥5).

To restore stable operation as quickly as possible, it is recommended to temporarily roll back to the official firmware 1.1.5, which has proven to be a reliable version for multi-unit setups.

You can do this by installing the following intermediate firmware file via the Deco web UI:

  1. Manually upgrade to the intermediate firmware version 1.3.0:1.3.0_build_20251229_rel.72520_Beta
  2. Then downgrade to the official firmware version 1.1.5:1.1.5_build 20231229_rel.36756_Official
  3. Go to Deco App>More>System>Backup>Configuration Backup and save a copy of the basic network settings.
  4. Hardware reset the Deco by pressing the reset pinhole for about 1 second until the LED turns solid yellow. Wait 1–2 minutes until the LED starts flashing blue, indicating a successful reset.
  5. Reconfigure your network: After resetting, reconfigure using the same Wi-Fi credentials so previously connected devices can reconnect automatically.

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.
