Youtube time limits - sony tv
Hi
I recently got a Deco BE28. I am finding that app limits for youtube are not really reliable (at least on a Sony TV). I created a profile, added my tv to it and then restricted "all" youtube apps to 2 hours. Most times my kids can keep on watching for way more time. Today it took close to 3 hours for it to stop.
Is it a known issue? Any ideas on how to fix? I am guessing I could try restricting it to 1 hour, hoping that will actually allow 2 hours 😅 .

@HelpFixDecoApp Hi,
It doesn't look like it. I searched the TV settings for something like that such as dynamic MAC but doesn't seem to be an option.
My guess is that if that was the case I would see more than one "Sony" listed on devices online list?
The other things is that eventually it works but it's just taking close to 3 hours if not more for the time limit to kick in

I don't have any other suggestions so far. If you add other mobile devices under the same profile, will you observe this issue on different devices?
If yes, could you please also refer to this link to submit the Deco App log: How to submit the Deco APP log , so I can forward it to the senior engineer to see whether they have any other suggestions?

Thanks for your reply. I will do some testing and report back.
What I have done for now as a workaround but still need to validate is to reduce the youtube app limit from 2 to 1.5 hours to see if that acctually gives the kids 2 hours of youtube.
