Hello Team,

I recently purchased the XX530V and have been experiencing connectivity issues since setting it up.

At home, I am using an EasyMesh configuration with an Ethernet backhaul. The XX530V is configured as the main host, and multiple Archer C6/A6 V4 units are set up as satellite routers.

Since switching to the XX530V as the host, I’ve noticed that my iPhones frequently fail to connect to the internet. Previously, when I was using only the Archer C6/A6 devices in the same setup, everything worked without any issues.

Could you please assist in identifying the cause of this problem and suggest a solution?

Thank you for your support.

Hello @Kedare ,

Welcome to our community.

Did you get the XXX530v from your ISP? Who is your ISP? For your case, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Open the Aginet app and check MORE > Block List to make sure your iPhones are not mistakenly blocked.

2. Log in to the web management interface of the XX530v, go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings, and try disabling "Band Steering". This will separate the WiFi bands and may improve device compatibility.

3. In the same Wireless Settings page, try changing the encryption method to "WPA2-PSK/WPA-PSK" to improve compatibility with your iPhones.

4. Try a few different wireless channels in the Wireless Settings to see if that helps.

5. Make sure your iPhones have the latest iOS updates installed.

6. Reboot the XX530v router.

Best Regards.

Hello @Joseph-TP,

Thank you for your reply I brought it myself

I was trying something trying to use XX530V without my ISP router but that didn't work out but not an issue.

1. No iPhones are blocked

2. Band Steering is always turned off

3. I tried I have WPA3 by default, but I tried changing them, it works for sometime but again same issues

4. I tried few different bands, the connection stays persistent for some time after again I get same issues

5. All the iPhones use latest updated iOS versions

6. Rebooting makes no difference
