Hi Guys, I'm wanting to know if the TP-LINK TD-W8968 ADSL2 modem is compatible with the USB TP-LINK MA180 3G Modem.

I want to use the TP-LINK MA180 3G Modem as a failover device by having this plugged into the USB port of the TD-W8968. I want this to be automatic failover.

Is this possible and will it work seamlessly without manual user intervention?

MA180 should work with 8968 ADSL modem.
But MA260 is a better because it support faster speed.
When ADSL line is down,it will switch to 3G network automatically.

Hi guys

Thank you for the advice, I purchased the MA260 and am now trying to set it up.

I have inserted a Telstra data sim into the MA260, but I still can not get it to work. I have used this sim in my phone and it works correctly.

I think there may be some setting requirement in the modem to login, but I have no clue what this may be.

I have activated the 3g setting, but thats all I know to do.

Any ideas would be great, thank you!
