Hi all

Router model: XX231v. I do everything according to the instructions, hold the reset button until the power LED starts flashing quick, after which router reboot, but nothing changes, web setup still requires a password that I don't know (I tried admin, superuser)

Hi,

Please check out this article: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/4370/

If none of that information helps for your case, then contact whoever provided that XX231v to you and ask them for the password.

@whiteeyes Customized Router or Retail? Password is pre-set using Aginet ISP Configuration Utility and only that password will be able to log you back in. Unless, you logged in via superuser and do a fresh configuration
