Trying to use a Huawei E3372-325 4G dongle in Sweden with a TL-WR902AC v3 purchased in North America.

 

I loaded the most recent firware for Canada/USA and the 3G/4G page is showing connected but there is no connectivity. The dongle works fine in my laptop.

 

 

 

Have read other threads with similar issues, some fixed with a more recent or beta firmware, but there doesn't appear to be new firmware for the North American version

For complete configuration steps, please refer to page 27 of: TL-WR902AC_V3_User Guide

Please note that your router was purchased in North America; the firmware may have limited compatibility with European LTE bands or carriers. We generally recommend purchasing the required products at the location where they will be used.

I have upgraded the firmware to TL-WR902ACv3_US_0.9.1_0.3_up_boot[241231-rel50257] 

 

I can also see that the TL-WR902AC is getting an IP address from the DHCP server on the E3372-325. I have also tried to set the DNS server to 8.8.8.8 as per https://www.tp-link.com/nordic/support/faq/400/
