To be honest, the stability of this router is unacceptable. The 5GHz band is extremely flaky and drops connection constantly. What’s worse is that every firmware update seems to make things less stable rather than fixing them. What are your engineers actually doing? I need a real solution, not another broken update.

Hello @vungn ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

It seems that the new firmware is causing 5G connection instability. Could you tell us if you previously downloaded the Beta firmware? Please see: Archer BE230 V2 May Experience Auto Reboot When SMB Is On After Updating to 1.3.1

How frequently does a 5G network disconnect? Besides 5G, are your 2.4G and wired connections stable?

We have not yet received any feedback regarding 5G instability caused by firmware 1.3.2.

If you are willing to assist us with further analysis, we are glad to prioritize escalating your case to our engineers.

Best Regards.

  @Joseph-TP

I’m hitting a weird issue after updating my router to Firmware 1.3.2 Build 20260212 rel.13796.

Every time I try to connect my MacBook M2 (running macOS 26) to the Wi-Fi, the router just straight up resets itself. It’s basically a reboot loop only triggered by this Mac. I have to switch to another router in my house just to get online.

Any tweaks or fixes available? Appreciate the help!

Hello @vungn ,

Thanks for your reply.

It appears this fix hasn't been included in the new firmware yet. Please try the beta firmware of After Updating to 1.3.1, Archer BE230 V2 May Experience Auto Reboot When SMB Is On.
