VX230V Recv no OFFER, DHCP Service unavailable
Hello everyone,
my router has been showing this error every day for weeks now.
I have to restart my device to make it work again, at least once a day.
My provider is Tim Italy, and I have already talked to them the problem is not the line; the firmware is up to date. I also changed the DSL cable with a new one, but still.

Has your VX230v been provided by the ISP ? It is with the latest FW from its italian support page - that's an ISP customized firmware.
If thatt's the case look at this thread - this issue is quite similar to yours and your ISP should take care of that issue.

@terziyski No, I bought my device, and I have installed the same firmware you sent me with the link.
I have already contacted my ISP, and they said that, from their point of view, everything is fine. They said that it's my problem and that if I want, I can speak with one of their technician but not for free, so I said no, thank you. My connection is a PPPoE with a VLAN ID (835).

Then go through the Quick setup following this guide (Guide for Setting up DSL Modem Router Mode).
Make sure to select your ISP name from the list, but if it's missing then choose Other and type yoir VLAN ID, as pointed into the guide.
Here's a troubleshooting guide if it still doesn't work as expected and this is another one if the Internet connection is unstable.
If that doesn't help, I'm affraid that you should conatct your ISP and ask for further assistance or use an ISP provided DSL modem.
