Hello,
I have a iPad 2025 that is not working with the mesh of my deco's X50 and 3x M5.
restarted everything. Firmware is up to date.
No difference in changing the privacy settings on my IPad to privat WiFi adres to off, or putting fast roaming off.
Every time I try to switch to an other Deco I lose my WiFi connection.
what can I do more?
greetings Herk

Hi,
Please provide the following information for further analysis.
1. Please describe your network diagram. Are the Deco nodes connected via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable? How far apart are the Deco nodes? Are there obstacles between them?
2. When your iPad switches to another Deco, does it disconnect from the previous Deco but won't connect to the new Deco automatically, even if the iPad and the new Deco are close to each other? How do you connect the iPad to the new Deco, such as turning off the Wi-Fi on the iPad and enabling it?
3. What's the OS version of your iPad? Are other wireless clients roaming properly between Deco nodes?
Best Regards

Hi,
There is a pre-release firmware for the Deco X50 V1.0, and the latest firmware for the Deco M5 V3.0 is v1.9.4. Please try updating the Deco nodes' firmware and check if it helps.

Hello,
Up dating to the pre release for the X50 en M5's did not help. I still have the same problem.
the X50 is connected by wire to my modem. The M5's are connected wireless to the X50.
IPad is on IOS 26.5. The IPad is the only device giving problems. Other older IPads have no problems.
when my IPad loses connection to the Deco's. Switching WiFi on off is not enough. I have to switch off the WiFi then turn off the screen and then turn on the WiFi, then I have WiFi again.
The problem is mostly when the IPad is switching from the M5 to the X50. It tries to switch but is not successful then tries to switch back to the M5 but loses that connection also.
what to do?

Hi,
Please try enabling a 2.4 GHz IoT or Guest network, with the wireless security type set to WPA2-PSK, for the iPad to connect only, and then test whether the same phenomenon persists. You can also test the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band.

Hello,
tried it all with the guest network. Actually made it worse. Couldn't switch between Deco's at all and lost connection to the first Deco I connected to.
so I still have the same problem

Hi,
Does the reported phenomenon occur only when the iPad switches from Deco M5 to Deco X50? How about when the iPad switches from Deco X50 to M5, and when the iPad switches from Deco M5 to M5?
Best Regards
