I have two Deco X50, the main one (Living Room) is wired to router and in access mode, the second one is wired to main one.

My network speed is 500mbs , however when using my laptop it connects to the main X50 in my living room, about 10 feet away, the speed is only 300mbs, however if I move nearer the main unit or even go upstairs the speed goes up to the correct speed of 500 mbs, while still connected to main X50.

It connects via 5 GHz and remains connected to this while moving.

I dont know why the speed is slow in one area, albeit near to the main X50, but increases when I move nearer or further away?

My other wifi items, ipad and mobile however are always at 500 mbs, its very puzzling?
